šŸ”¹ What is a dashboard in the BI tool?

A dashboard is a visual space within the BI tool that allows you to gather multiple charts (visualizations) to get an overview of a specific business topic (e.g., engagement, internal mobility, HR performance).

šŸ“Œ The interface language adapts to your location—either in French or English.

šŸ”¹ For administrators with a Designer license (advanced creation role)

These users have the ability to create and modify dashboards and charts.

āœ… Creating a dashboard

  1. Click on the "Dashboards" menu at the top of the screen.

  2. Select ā€œ+ Dashboardā€ (or ā€œCreateā€ > ā€œDashboardā€).

  3. Give it a name.

  4. Click ā€œSaveā€.

šŸ’” Neobrain Tip: Use a clear and functional name (e.g., ā€œTraining Completion Rate – 2025ā€).

āœ… Adding charts

Two options:

  • Check if your chart already exists in the chart library. Click on the "Charts" menu at the top of the interface. You can search for a chart by name or using filters.

  • If your chart doesn't exist, you can create one:

    • Click on ā€œ+ Chartā€ / ā€œCreate a new chartā€.

    • Select the data source (user, job, etc.) and the desired visualization type (bar chart, table, etc.).

    • Click "Create a new chart".

    • Drag and drop the columns and metrics. Hover over them to see more information.

    • Click ā€œCreate Chartā€ to preview the result.

    • Give your chart a name.

    • In the "Add to dashboard" list, select the dashboard(s) where you want to include it.

    • Don’t forget to click ā€œSaveā€ to save your changes.

šŸ“Œ You can tag your dashboards and charts.
šŸ“Œ You can customize the colors.

āœ… Rearranging charts

Editing is done by drag-and-drop.

You can:

  • Move/resize blocks.

  • Add titles, separators, explanatory text boxes, and tabs.

šŸŽÆ Goal: Visually guide the end users.

āœ… Adding and configuring global filters

  • The Filters menu is on the left side of the screen. You can collapse or expand it using the arrow icon.

  • Click ā€œ+ Add/Edit filtersā€ to add a filter box.

  • Configure the columns and filter types.

  • Check ā€œApply to all chartsā€ if needed.
