Creating a 1to1 Questionnaire in Smart Mobility

Accessing the Questionnaire Creation Interface

  1. Log in to the Smart Mobility platform via the back office (BO).

  2. In the left-hand side menu, click on the "Questionnaires" tab.

  3. At the top right of the page, click the "New" button.

Important Note: Do not insert line breaks in the questionnaire description to avoid the appearance of HTML fields.

Selecting the Questionnaire Type

  • A popup window will appear to select the type of questionnaire.

  • Choose "1to1".

If the 1to1 Type Doesn’t Appear

Check the following activations (these must be requested from your CSM or support):

  • Access > Performance, Talent Management & Careers > Interviews and performance objectives > Interview campaigns

Questionnaire Setup

General Information

  • Enter a title and a short description.

Creating Questions

  1. Click the icon to the right of the cogwheel (blue box).

  2. Click "Add a question".

Important: The first question must be a "Section" type. Without this, the first question will be skipped.

Available Question Types

1. Section

  • Groups questions on the same page.

  • The employee must click "Next" to move to the next section.

  • A title is required.

2. Message

  • A simple text message with no answer field.

3. Simple

  • A single-line text field.

  • Can preload data from the employee profile.

4. Open Question

  • A multi-line text field for detailed answers.

5. Selection

  • Allows one or multiple choice from predefined options (e.g., training catalog, job list).

  • You can set the maximum number of choices.

6. Choice

  • Similar to Selection, but responses appear as checkboxes directly on the page.

7. Objectives Evaluation

  • Allows employees to evaluate previously assigned goals.

  • The manager or employee may be allowed to add new objectives.

Behavior Based on Permissions:

  • If creation is not allowed, the "+" icon will not be visible.

  • Users can still delete objectives.

8. Skills

  • Automatically loads the employee’s skills.

  • You only need to add a title and instructions.

  • Several visibility options are available via Module 8 switches:

    • Hide motivation rating

    • Hide comment section for each skill

    • Hide required level section (visible only to the manager during the preparation phase, and shown in the final report once validated)

Tip: You can choose to display all of the employee’s skills or only those linked to their job using the checkbox: "Display all of the employee's skills in the skill list. By default, only job-related skills are displayed."

9. 360° Feedback Results

  • Allows the manager to view a selected 360 feedback campaign.

  • Just provide a title, instructions, and choose an existing campaign.

10. Activities

  • Displays the employee's activities.

11. Training

  • Simulates the training view from the front office.

  • To set it up, define a title and instructions.

  • You can also add an optional question to gather additional input (e.g., why the employee wants to improve a skill).

Three parameter sources can be used (defined by switches):

  • Current Job

  • Career Plan

  • Training Catalog

Switches:

  • Use career plan as a parameter

  • Use job skills as a parameter

  • Use training catalog as a parameter

12. Career Plan

  • Allows users to create or modify a career plan.

  • Changes impact the user's profile immediately.

  • Visibility settings define if the manager can edit the employee's career plan (Write & Read) or only view it (Read-only).

13. Development Objectives

  • For detailed setup, refer to the page: "Development objectives into the 1to1"

14. Hyperlink

  • Insert a link to another part of the platform or an external site:

    • Highlight the text

    • Click the link icon

Finalizing the Questionnaire

  • Click "Back" at the top of the page.

  • The questionnaire will now appear in the list and can be reused anytime.

Sending a Questionnaire to Collaborators

  • To send a questionnaire, you must create a campaign.

  • See article: "Creating a campaign"

Question Visibility Levels

Three visibility levels are available:

  • None: The question is hidden from the user.

  • Read: The question is visible but not editable (grayed out).

  • Read and Write: The question is visible and editable.

Useful Switches to Activate

Module 13: Trainings

  • Activate trainings in 1to1

  • Enables creation of training-related questions

Module 9: Career Plan

  • Activate career plan in 1to1

  • Enables creation of career plan-related questions
